Mr. Sayegh is specialized in Human Resources and Organization Development Consultancy.
He is currently Advisor to the Minister of Culture in Lebanon (July 2006 to the present). His activities include: review of policies and procedures, organization charts, job descriptions for the staff of the ministry.
He also occupies the position of Vice chairperson of the Committee for the rehabilitation of the national library project and the designated focal point with the State of Qatar for the implementation of this project.
Mr. Sayegh also occupied the following positions:
- Advisor to the Minister of Administrative Reform in Lebanon (May-June 2006)
- Consultant to Several Institutions: Hospitals, Universities, Business firms. (2002 to the present). Activities included development of job descriptions, job evaluation, performance evaluation and salary structure for hundreds of jobs. Training key administrators on the technique of job description and job evaluation. Coaching and training selected staff on modern Human Resources trends and techniques.
- Deputy Vice President for Administration, American University of Beirut (AUB) - (1980 – 2000) in charge of human resources management, training, labor relations and related management information systems.>br>
- Vice President for Administration, University of Balamand (1989 – 1992) in charge of facilities planning, organization and human resources development.
- Senior management consultant with Middle East Industrial Relations Counselors (1978 – 1980) responsibilities included organizational development, job descriptions and personnel policy manuals for a number of oil companies in the Gulf.
- Director of Personnel (1974 – 1978) at AUB with responsibility for human resources management, organizational studies, job descriptions, salary structures, job performance appraisals.
- Prepared organizational studies and manpower needs for the American University of Sharjah (1997), the Ministry of Health in Bahrain (1979), and the University of Qatar (1985)
- Conducted short training courses in the techniques of job evaluation, job description and compensation. Lebanese Management Association (2001,2003)
